The brakes work well, and even as a beginner with baitcasting reels, I’ve thrown about 450 times in 3 days and haven’t had any issues yet. Compared with the spinning reel, the flying distance is about the same.

I really wanted to like this reel. I’ve taken it fishing 8 or 9 times. I’ve used good quality mono line and braid, different weight ratings and etc. Its impossible to dial it in to keep it from back lashing. Plus, the fishing line is constantly getting in-between the spool and frame because the gap is too large. I also bought a seasir cast x and it’s great. Can get it tuned easily, casts consistently, tight tolerance between spool and frame. I keep the cast x in regular rotation. I finally took the mansory and packed it away. Tired of wasting my time when i’m on the water trying to fish but have to battle birds nests or taking the spool out to get the line untangled from the spool shaft. Spend your money on the cast x instead. Ot may not be as sporty looking but then again,, you won’t be wasting time every 5 casts taking your reel apart.

Overall – an excellent reel, arrived quite quickly, the operation and overall performance are very smooth and good, the workmanship is quite high quality, there is an adequate amount of lubricant of two types. All mechanisms work perfectly, two absolutely perfect spools of different (caliber), which is quite pleasing. The access cover to the spool and mechanisms works perfectly as well, all clickers click as they should, friction adjustment is absolutely superb. One drawback is the damage to the frame inside the spool access cover (the groove that should fit inside is not neatly cut but simply broken), but despite this, there are no gaps or any other issues. I don’t understand at all why it’s needed. Let’s hope that this won’t affect the coil’s performance, but I would like the seller to check these small details before shipping.

Very sincerely, I wanted to wait a bit before leaving a review. I mounted it on a 7/28 MH. I made a cast of over a meter, I caught a catfish where I broke the line, and the reel really has that 8 kilograms of drag. My set is not originally designed for these big fish, yet the reel really did the job. It is smooth, no problem with disengagement, the perfect magnetic brake. The carbon frame is a bit flexible, it shocks a bit on big fish but nothing to say, it held up. For the defects, I would say that the magnetic brake adjustment knob is quite cheap, and the guide wire has a significant play. But apart from that, it’s really very good. If he keeps me for the year, then I will definitely go back to it. Thank you, sir/madam.
